A Song of Hope - Foley

This is a very gentle song expressing hope and encouragement about God's plans for each person - especially in times of difficulty.   It is based on Jeremiah 29:10-14.

It was written in 1985, and first released by North American Liturgy Resources, on the St Louis Jesuits album, Steadfast Love (ref).

The lyrics are copyright so cannot be reproduced here. But they are currently available on this website. A rough outline is:
Solo or chorus:
I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord:
plans of fullness, not of harm;
to give you a future and a hope.

1.  After a time has gone by, then I will visit you,
fulfill my promise to you and bring you back.

2.  You will seek Me. And find Me,
When you seek me with all of your heart,
I will be found by you
