The song is set to an unnamed tune by Dufford. This has a 3/4 time signature, and was originally published in the key of C. The first few notes in this key are G EF G c.

The lyrics are copyright so cannot be reproduced here. But they are currently available on this website.The song starts with a seven-line chorus, and this is repeated after each of the three verses. The 2nd verse is shorter, and has a totally different tune. A rough outline is:
